About

This website is for understanding the radical proposition that the Krishna Consciousness Movement needs to “return to square one.”

What does that mean?

It means we need to expose all of the historical prevarications, all of the myths, all of the distortions, all of the compromises, all of the unauthorized changes, and all of the corruptions that have taken place in the Movement in the last 30+ years.

It means we need to put in their place all the genuine history, all the facts and related truths, all the relevant realities. We need to straighten the whole thing out, and, in order to do so, we need to become completely honest.

This site seeks to start that process. And who are the people behind this website?

We are a worldwide community of devotees encompassing all age groups, life experiences and affiliations. We intensely believe in the need to Return to Square One. We welcome your participation.

  1. All major groups that presently claim to represent Hare Krishna movement in the west, like “ISKCON”, ritviks, neo-Gaudiya Mutt, etc., are deviants, so it is a difficult time. If some new person goes to the INTERNET to find bona fide spiritual association, he will certainly be confused by so many contradictory presentations from various camps. So, to find a correct way in these times of corruption one has to be either very intelligent with strong power of discrimination, or very lucky to stumble upon a serious advanced devotee.

I can’t do much about your luck, but I can direct you to a treatise that should answer your question, what is one supposed to do to attain spiritual advancement in this era. So, if you have good intelligence with discriminatory power, I am sure you will benefit from it: http://therealexplanation.org/article/on_sufficient.html
We are a group of devotees under the guidance of Srila Prabhupada’s disciple Kailasa Candra das, the author of the majotity of articles presented on our websites. Please let me know if you will have any further questions.

    Sincerely,

  2. What is one supposed to do to attain any spiritual advancement in this era? Particularly in the west. ISKCON is available, but what else? Where does one turn?

  3. A scriptural Bhaktivedanta note for ” “ISKCON” Gurus, Initiations, and Party Men Part 3″ :
“Indeed, the advanced uttama-adhikari Vaisnava devotee should be accepted as a spiritual master. Everything one possesses should be offered to him, for it is enjoined that one should deliver whatever he has to the spiritual master. The brahmacari in particular is supposed to beg alms from others and offer them to the spiritual master. HOWEVER, ONE SHOULD NOT IMITATE THE BEHAVIOUR OF AN ADVANCED DEVOTEE OR MAHA-BHAGAVATA WITHOUT BEING SELFREALIZED, FOR BY SUCH IMITATION ONE WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME DEGRADED.
