Vitiated G.B.C. Not Prabhupada’s Successor

By Ernest Dras and Michael Garner

Following in the footsteps of our previous äcäryas, this article, along with its authors, stands in complete opposition to, and in uncompromising defiance of, the vitiated GBC and the fabricated so-called “ISKCON” it controls. Çréla Prabhupäda came to the West to spread Kåñëa consciousness on the order of his guru mahäräja; he did not come here with the approval of, or being monitored by, any commission of conditioned souls. He was Çréla Bhaktisiddhänta’s authorized successor. All spiritual masters are individuals, not governing bodies.

“We simply follow the predecessor’s instruction. That’s all. Our movement is very easy, because we haven’t got to manufacture something. We simply repeat the words and the instruction given by the predecessor. . . Very simple thing. We are receiving the transcendental knowledge through guru-paramparä succession.”
– Arrival address of June 20, 1975

Is there anyone who can, with çästric authority, explain where and how the GBC is directly integral to this line of disciplic succession? According to a recent Wikipedia entry (for his Divine Grace), it allegedly is. Wikipedia is considered by many researchers to be a (relatively) reliable source of information. Let us see what is now found there, when searching, by typing in Çréla Prabhupäda’s name:

Title: Founder-acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness
Period in office: 1966 – 1977
Predecessor: Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura
Successor: The Governing Body Commission

Same Old Brave New “ISKCON”

Article Two, Section One: Existentialism and the “ISKCON” Dragons

Third of a Six-Part Series

by Kailäsa Candra däsa

çruti-småti-puräëädi-païcarätra-vidhià vinä
aikäntiké harer bhaktir utpätäyaiva kalpate

“Unauthorized devotional service to Hari, not sanctioned by the direction of the Upaniñads, Vedänta-sütra, the Puräëas, corollary literatures and the Närada-païcarätra, is an unnecessary disturbance to civilized humanity.” Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu, 1.2.101

Disciple: This desire to be being-in-itself is the desire to be God, which Sartre maintains is man’s fundamental desire.
Çréla Prabhupäda: This is more or less Mäyävädé philosophy.
- Critique of Sartre

As mentioned in Part One, it is our perspective that the first-echelon leaders of so-called “ISKCON”, in terms of individual egotistical identifications they brought with them into the movement, are shot through with a latter day equivalent of existentialism. They developed this in their formative years, but the disease has now metastasized into something on another devolutionary level. In Parts Three and Four, we are going to discuss this hypothesis; along with related evidence, we shall later present the tenets of existentialism. Ultimately, you must decide for yourself whether or not you consider these “bhakti”cult leaders to be covert existentialists.

“Any system we accept must be supported by evidences of çruti, småti, the Puräëas, and Païcarätra. That which is not proved by these pramäëas is a disturbance.”
- Conversation with Professor Kotovsky, Moscow University, 1971

Crypto-Rittvik: Initiation by Sound Vibration

By: Ernest Dras & Michael Garner

The article, “Clarification and Statement to Date” by Dusyanta prabhu is proof of how far one can go from Srila Prabhupada’s standards, all the while claiming to act in his name. The result of enacting the recommendations in the article would be a kind of pseudo-Vaishnava-neo-Christianity that would only further muddy the name of His Divine Grace. Dusyanta prabhu very well describes the flaws of “ISKCON” and the rittviks. However, the conclusion he derives is misleading and ultimately falls into the same category as the groups he criticizes. It is somewhat shocking that no one has yet written something to counter his assertions.

This is not to say that all of Dusyanta prabhu’s points are dangerous. He makes a very nice argument regarding the necessity of the spiritual master’s vapuh (physical manifestation) in maintaining a rittvik system of initiating new disciples. He also made a very nice exposition and cited a number of wonderful quotes in praise of transcendental sound vibration.

Requiem for the Rackets

Requiem for the Rackets

A Closer Look at the Deviations

By Kailasa Candra dasa

“The demigods fully absorb themselves in meditation upon the Supreme Personality of Godhead to become perfect yogis, but, because of the presence of demons, their hearts are filled with the activities of the demons. Thus their hearts, which are meant to be the abode of the Supreme Lord, are practically occupied by the demons.”

Srimad-Bhagavatam, 7.8.42, purport

“Now that you find yourself losing your mind, are you here . . . again? Seeing that what you once thought was real is gone . . . and changin’.

Neil Young, “I Believe in You”

There is a specific procedure, manifest as tangible stages, in the prosecution of Krishna consciousness. It is also known as engagement meant to please the spiritual master, prosecuted in accordance with the working principles of buddhi-yoga. The goal is spiritual enlightenment. The spiritual master as diksa-guru is the manifest representative of the supreme authority of the Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. That supreme authority is known as guru-parampara, and any bona fide, authentic spiritual master must be recognized as a current representative in that line of real spiritual life, the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya Sampradaya.

Ages and Stages of Man and Movement

by Kailasa Candra dasa

Third of a Three-Part Series

“Anything without substance will not last. So just demonstrate sincerely that we have got solid ground beneath us, not that we have only some sentiment. That’s all. Many fanatic spiritual movements have come and gone, but without the flawless philosophy of Krishna, they cannot stand.”

Letter to Lalita Kumar and Jambavati, Nov. 27, 1971

Let us briefly re-iterate the theory covered in Parts One and Two of this series. It is not at all difficult to comprehend. Prabhupada’s movement and mission was meant primarily for the West. Western culture has gone through six specific ages, stages, empires, or epochs, and we are now in its seventh age (which will be the finale, also). The theory is based on a correlation, occult at root, but also demonstrated by the logic of experience. To understand it requires some basic knowledge of Western history, and this has already been detailed to some extent to your advantage.

Second of a Three-Part Series

“Jnana entails receiving knowledge from the scriptures through the spiritual master by disciplic succession. In the modern age, there is a tendency to do research by mental speculation and concoction.”

Srimad Bhagavatam, 3.24.17, purport

“The history of the West–beginning from the time of the Greeks and the Romans down to the modern age of atomic war—is a continuous chain of sense gratificatory materialism . . .”

Letter to Jawaharlal Nehru, 8-4-58

Ages and Stages of Man and Movement – Part 1

Ages and Stages of Man and Movement

by Kailasa Candra dasa

First of a Three-Part Series

“There have been so many big empires in different parts of the world, there have been so many powerful kings all over the world, and there have been so many fortunate men, but all of them have been liquidated gradually. This is the law of material nature.”
Srimad Bhagavatam, 1.11.33, purport

“ . . . and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth I declare to be knowledge . . . “
Bhagavad-gita, 13.12

When any theory runs counter to a verse, sloka, statement in the Vedic literature, or genuine commentary on it, that idea, assertion, or theory must be categorized as mental speculation—which is never wanted.  However, when research is undertaken in order to further a better perspective on Krishna consciousness and the Krishna consciousness movement, as long as it (the research and corresponding theory) avoids all unauthorized or mentally speculative ideas, it should be understood as pursuit or search for truth.  It may well be able to help us make spiritual advancement.  Such is the spirit in which this three-part series is undertaken.  In some ways, it is similar to the series just concluded in The Transcendental Torchlight, Born as the U.S.A. In the first part of that series, we laid the foundation for the meaning and interpretation of the whole article.

Born as the U.S.A.

Born as the U.S.A.

Last of a Three-Part Series

By Kailasa Candra dasa

“I have got a fancy for your country, and, being inspired by that, I first went to your country. And still I feel that way.”

Letter to Hayagriva, Aug. 29, 1967

“Mr. Lennon wants to stop war, but the war is the creation of different politicians. So, unless on the summit of administration there are actually Krishna conscious men, we cannot stop war. Therefore, people in general must understand the importance of Krishna consciousness, and they must in this democratic day to send their real representatives who can make right decisions whether there should be war or no war.”

Letter to Vibhavati, June 12.1969 (emphases added)

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech . . .”

Amendment I to the United States Constitution, ratified 1791

As we discovered in the first two parts of this series, the astrological founding of America was at a time that produced a powerful binary, viz., four of the major planets in the chart work in a certain way, but two, Saturn and the upagraha Rahu, work contrary to that quartet. One of the planets, the Sun, is neutralized, although he would have otherwise worked for the astro-majority rule. Although he helps the astro-majority to some extent, basically Mercury is more or less neutral. [Read more →]

The Dialectic is in Battle

My dearest friend Kailasa Candra

“Action trumps destiny” — in effect from Bishma Deva. If we examine the actions of the Supremely Wise, All Good and Graceful Sri Varshabanavidevidayitaya das Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur, he appears deficient, in that he knew that Kunja Babu and Bon and Madhava, were playing as the Hindoo. I asked a small town Burgomeister in Germany what was the deal with Nixon from the German perspective, indeed from perspective of European mayors from Ireland to Greece, from Norway to Italy. “Nixon is a great man like Bismarck, you Puritans are lunatics.” Hindoo or European, there is not much difference: they tolerate the highest level-talented miscreants. Give the masses bread and circuses. Collect treasure. MAKE SLAVES, DESTROY FREEDOM.

A dialectic exists. Pole A: talented miscreants, Kunja Babu aka Tirthaji, Nixon, Tamal Krishna. Pole B: Freedom.

The dharmaksetre which the Vaishnava Foundation exists within, implicitly understands that action is possible despite Tirthaji, or TK. We can have freedom, which was given us by Srila Prabhupada Abhaya Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta, our Guru.

Kuruksetre denizens are the advocates of Tirthaji, TK, “ISKCON”. “THEY MUST ALL GO DOWN ” (spoken by BV Puri Swami) to inaction, to being wives and marionettes — slaves. Slaves before destiny. NO FREEDOM.

Dharmaksetre denizens include the Viashnava Foundation headed by Sriman Kailasa Candra das, followed by Sarva Sankalpa , the right honorable Bhaktas, Joseph, Earnest, Eric, Irena and some slow convoys.

Dharma ksetre, Kuruksetre, samaveta yuyutsavah

The dialectic is in battle!

mamakah (aka Tirthaji, TK) pandavas (aka the Vaishnava Foundation ) caiva kim a KURU vata sanjaya (what ACTION—see here KURU—was FREELY TAKEN or transpired, O, seer, for i am blinded, i must go down into slavery).

Thanks for freely acting as well as possible without officers, Kailasa Candra das. Action trumps destiny and Krishna, Radharani, Sampradaya, the Bhakti Lata Bija destine you and the followers like Sarva Sankalpa, and Eric, Earnest, Joseph, Irena, for THEIR BHAKTI LATA BIJA COMPANY, named FREEDOM. In their company there is Yogamaya. First action, then the favor of Yogamaya.

The VF members, are awakening from maya into FREEDOM. It is traumatic, different, threatening.

Again, thanks, Kailasa Candra, leader into FREEDOM.

Sarva Sankalpa
